VETERANS DAY 2023

 Today, Veterans Day, November 11, 2023,  our government is becoming day-by-day more tyrannical… removing our freedoms, diluting our culture, and realigning our future ideologies… today we must remember and honor those who fought, sacrificed, and died to protect the very things now being taken away.

Only the most naive and ignorant could have ever served in our armed forces without  “knowing” about the deceptive media reports, the misguided decisions, and the power abuse of warfare that goes ignored or covered up, the knowledge that people get rich from war, and the many lies of politics… we all knew, the “we were never there” and the flagrant “its war” excuses and abuses were part of the game.

On Veterans Day, the five eyes countries survivors of past wars, conflicts, missions, and ops (known about or not) all come back for a  moment… a lot of great, and a lot of ugly memories, people, and places resurface… for some, it is a PTSD scare, for others a “God, I love the smell of napalm” moment, or even a total flash of disgust for who we were and who our country was… proud to have served only works if you are appreciated.

What we have become in 2023, versus what we believed we would be, and why we were serving sadly makes Veterans Day take a twist… while we “ remember and honor those who fought, sacrificed, and died to protect the American way” we also must question the cost, and what our government has done to that legacy.

As you stand in the rain to watch the parade or visit today's ceremonies, pull your veteran's ball cap down to stay dry, stare at your shoes, listen to “Taps”, and briefly “flash”-relive your time in service for those who cannot. Remember to vote.
