POST # 9 - 17 March, 2017 - ON SCHEDULE
Drydocking is three days away . . . on March 21st. and we are ready to start up engines, visit the fuel dock and sea trial before-hand.
Finished the tool room/utility/cat box/washer-dryer enclosure, rebuilt the V berth door, ordered in the new swim rail parts, finished the LED cabin lighting installation, installed the tool box, and have started the removal-to-warehouse of unneeded stuff.
Ordered in the new dock lines and fenders, the 75 foot water hose, electric cable and plug-ends are here (with the 120/240 volt power panel (a $1,000.00 affair) due to ship on Monday the 20th, the rewiring needed to accept 100 amps is immense, and installing the vinyl is another big work item priority before Florence.
Windy Cove Douglas County Park has one cabin---which we have reserved for the dry dock period, we will be off line for awhile, but check back.... lots will be happening these next two weeks !
